National Leadership Development Institute

National Leadership Development Institute knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our members. Back in 2019, our Non-Profit Organization realized that the lack of responsible leadership is harming many non-profits across the nation. People assume board positions without proper training to assume their roles or even a basic understanding of what duties and responsibilities accompany their office. That is why we ultimately decided to launch the National Leadership Development Institute.

The National Leadership Development Institute (NLDI) was founded to address a void in the lack of inclusion of minorities on nonprofit boards.  We focus on professional development in the areas of board member duties, roles, responsibilities, and accountability; parliamentary law and procedure; and nonprofit law.  This is done in a comfortable, non-threatening environment where our current and future nonprofit volunteer leaders can master the foundation of good governance.
